A lost credit card turned a dream vacation into a nightmare for actress Jeon Hye Bin in Bali.
On October 1st, she took to social media to share that she had lost her credit card and a stranger had used it to make unauthorized charges totaling 15 million won ($11,000 USD) within minutes.
Posting a screenshot of a map showing the Ubud area, she wrote, “I lost my card in this area… Please be careful. Everyone in Ubud town, and those planning to travel soon.” She added that the charges were made just 10 minutes after she lost her card.
The incident disrupted what was supposed to be a meaningful trip. The actress had shared earlier that she was in Ubud to celebrate her son’s third birthday and her “third anniversary of becoming a mother.”
The location holds special meaning for her family as it’s where she married her husband, a dentist, in 2019. “We got married in Ubud as two, and now we’ve returned as three,” she had written emotionally.
Jeon Hye Bin most recently appeared in the legal drama Beyond the Bar, which wrapped up in September.
