Netflix has unveiled new character posters and a video for its upcoming original series Genie, Make a Wish, starring Kim Woo Bin and Suzy. The fantasy romance will premiere globally on October 3rd and is already building excitement with fresh glimpses of its lead characters.
The new posters highlight the intriguing bond between the “Satan Genie” and his new master, Ga Young. Kim Woo Bin’s Genie flashes a mischievous smile under the tagline, “In the end, all humans become corrupt.”
Suzy’s Ga Young, described as a “psychopath,” contrasts sharply. Dressed in a dazzling gown yet gripping a power drill, she stares back with cold intensity. Her tagline reads, “I’m the only bad thing in this world.”
The character video adds another layer, showcasing the sharp banter between Genie and Ga Young. Even when Genie threatens her, she snaps back with, “Get lost and go get a haircut,” hinting at the pair’s witty and unpredictable chemistry.
New stills expand the drama’s world, jumping from Dubai’s vast deserts to a cabbage field in Korea, as Genie plots to corrupt humanity and Ga-young clings to her strict rules and routines.
Genie, Make a Wish premieres worldwide on Friday, October 3, only on Netflix.
