Yum Jung Ah, Cha Joo Young and Kim Hye Yoon are set to join forces on the big screen as a trio of bank robbers in Land, a new crime drama from director Han Dong Wook.

According to industry insiders, the three stars have signed on as the leads, with a table read held on August 12th. The production aims to start filming later this year once final details are locked in.

Land follows three women living in a dying mining town now overshadowed by a casino. Struggling to make ends meet, they plot a bank robbery—only to find themselves caught up in an even bigger incident.

Yum Jung Ah plays Hwa Sook, the eldest of the group, a woman standing at the end of her rope. Cha Joo Young takes on the role of Chun Ja, a brash, casino-obsessed character with a strong sense of loyalty. Kim Hye Yoon rounds out the trio as Do Yeon, the youngest and a bank employee.

The film will be directed by Han Dong Wook, best known for helming the Disney Plus series The Worst of Evil. It is produced by Sanai Pictures, the company behind multiple acclaimed crime titles such as New World, A Violent Prosecutor, and Hunt, now turning its focus toward a female-driven crime story.
