Once shelved due to school bullying allegations against lead actress Park Hye Soo, the long-delayed drama Dear.M is finally getting its moment on primetime TV.
On June 25th, the Dear.M team announced that the series will air as a Wednesday–Thursday drama on KBS2 starting July 9th.
Set at the fictional Seoyeon University, the drama kicks off when an anonymous confession on the student forum sparks a series of events that shake the entire campus. The drama features a star-studded cast, including Park Hye Soo, NCT’s Jaehyun, Roh Jeong Eui and Bae Hyun Sung.

Originally highly anticipated, Dear.M was pulled just before its planned premiere after Park Hye Soo was accused of school bullying. Her role as the bright and energetic Ma Joo Ah was central to the story, and the controversy forced the production to halt all plans.
After spending years in limbo, the drama quietly aired on cable channel KBS Joy from April to May this year, but it went largely unnoticed. Now, it’s finally getting a proper broadcast on KBS2—the network it was initially meant to air on—bringing the project full circle.
The production team shared, “We’re thrilled that more viewers will finally get to experience Dear.M. We hope the drama brings back the feelings of youth and lets audiences fully enjoy what it has to offer.”
Dear.M premieres July 9th at 11:05 PM KST on KBS2.
