Reports have emerged that DJ Koo has been preparing to move closer to Chin Pao San, where his late wife Barbie Hsu is laid to rest.
According to Taiwanese media outlet ETtoday, local residents claim that DJ Koo visited a newly built apartment complex near Chin Pao San about two months ago to check out real estate listings.
The complex in question is a new high-rise development with a direct view of Chin Pao San—where Barbie Hsu was laid to rest earlier this year. It hasn’t been confirmed whether Koo has finalized a purchase, but when asked about the matter, Hsu’s mother said, “I haven’t heard anything, but he really loved her deeply.”
Sources say DJ Koo currently makes a daily visit to his wife’s grave, which is located roughly an hour outside of central Taipei.
Hsu tragically passed away in February while traveling in Japan due to acute pneumonia. Her sudden death shocked fans across Asia, especially since it came just three years after her highly publicized reunion and marriage with DJ Koo—20 years after their first relationship.
Last month, her mother gave a rare update on Koo’s condition via social media, writing, “My son-in-law misses Barbie so much that he’s become noticeably thinner.” Photos shared showed Koo looking visibly gaunt, stirring concern among fans.
