Daniel Henney is stepping behind the camera for the first time—with a deeply personal reason.
On May 29th, Esquire Korea unveiled a photo spread and interview with Henney, who recently directed Do Anything You Want, Roscoe (literal title)—a documentary chronicling his life with his beloved dog, Roscoe. The photos, just like the project itself, reveal a more introspective, emotionally grounded side of the actor.
In the interview, Henney shared that the idea for the film came after Roscoe was diagnosed with cancer. “I realized our trip to Michigan might be the last one we’d ever take together. About one or two weeks before we left, I began putting the project together. Roscoe was truly special, and knowing that people will get to meet him through this film makes me incredibly proud,” he said.
He added, “I hope this documentary encourages people to reflect on what it means to spend time with someone they love. Life moves fast.”
Do Anything You Want, Roscoe will premiere on Esquire Korea’s official YouTube channel on May 31st at 6 PM KST.
