Disney Plus has officially greenlit Season 2 of A Shop for Killers, the action-thriller series that made global waves with its debut. The streamer announced the production kickoff and teased a 2026 premiere, along with the highly anticipated returning and new cast lineup—setting the stage for an even more explosive second season.

Upon its release, A Shop for Killers earned international praise, with NME calling it “not a minute spent on boring filler,” and Outlook India lauding leads Lee Dong Wook and Kim Hye Jun for “shining in a suspenseful, intriguing K-drama.” Korean media also applauded its “gripping story, airtight execution, and high-octane direction” (MBC Entertainment),” calling it the “Korean ‘John Wick'” (eyesmagazine).

With the buzz building, fans can look forward to the return of the original lead duo. Lee Dong Wook reprises his role as Jin Man, the enigmatic former mercenary who built the mysterious MurderHelp, while Kim Hye Jun returns as his niece Jian—bringing back the beloved uncle-niece chemistry that anchored Season 1.

Joining them are Jo Han Sun as the iconic villain Veil, a Babylon mercenary; Geum Hannah as another fan-favorite Min Hye; Lee Tae Young as Brother, the steadfast MurderHelp manager and supporter; and Kim Min as Phasin, Jin Man’s former comrade and Jian’s Muay Thai mentor.

Season 2 also introduces a powerful slate of new faces—expanding the world of Babylon. Hyunri, the Korean-Japanese actress who won Best New Actress at the 29th Takasaki Film Festival and gained international recognition through Eye Love You (TBS) and Tokyo Vice Season 2 (HBO), joins as Q, the commanding team leader of Babylon’s East Asia unit.

She’ll be joined by Masaki Okada, who received critical acclaim for Drive My Car, which was nominated for Best Picture at the 94th Academy Awards. Okada plays J, Q’s younger brother and Babylon’s East Asia co-commander. Also appearing is Jung Yun Ha, known for Trunk on Netflix, as Kusanagi, the head of Babylon’s East Asia branch.

As the battle between MurderHelp and Babylon escalates, fans can expect deeper storylines, more intense confrontations, and a thrilling global expansion of the series’ universe.
