Netflix’s highly anticipated thriller Karma has already begun making waves, even before its official premiere.

The series wrapped a successful run of its “binge screening” events and cast meet-and-greets across three cities in Korea on March 29th, where audiences were treated to the full series and a brief talk with by director Lee Il Hyung alongside cast members Park Hae Soo, Shin Mina, Kim Sung Kyun, Lee Kwang Soo, and Gong Seung Yeon.

Karma has already been named one of the “7 Best New K-Dramas to Watch in April 2025” by the South China Morning Post, and Collider praised its mind-bending narrative: “The storyline with which this is achieved is nothing short of brilliant. It constantly turns in on itself, cleverly rewriting events from new perspectives and dropping our jaws as each clue pans out to its reveal.”

Audience reactions at the screening matched the critical buzz, with attendees praising “the hauntingly powerful performances from all six leads, an intense soundtrack, and striking visuals” and calling it “a thrilling ride packed with jaw-dropping twists.”

Others described it as “addictively suspenseful” and “totally worth the re-watch after its release.”

With its twist-heavy plot and ensemble cast firing on all cylinders, Karma is already being touted as one of Netflix’s biggest K-drama hits of the year. The full series drops globally on April 4th.
