Netflix has another Korean global takeover on its hands. Both the feature film Revelations and the series When Life Gives You Tangerines have simultaneously soared to the No. 1 spot in Netflix’s Global Top 10 Non-English rankings.
Released on March 21st, the psychological thriller Revelations racked up a staggering 5.7 million views within just three days, immediately claiming the No. 1 position in the non-English film category. The film dominated the Top 10 charts across 39 countries, including Spain, Portugal, Greece, Japan, and Indonesia.
Directed by Yeon Sang Ho and executive produced by Alfonso Cuarón, Revelations follows a pastor who believes punishing the culprit in a missing persons case is divine will, and the haunted detective tormented by visions of her dead sister. With gripping performances from Ryu Jun Yeol, Shin Hyun Bin, and Shin Min Jae, the film delivers an intense, layered thriller that asks profound questions about human instinct, faith, and morality.

The drama follows the vibrant, rebellious Ae Soon and the hopelessly devoted Gwan Sik as they navigate love, struggle, and growth across the four seasons of life. Since its debut, Tangerines climbed steadily up the ranks, debuting at No. 4 with part one, then rising to No. 2 with part two, and finally clinching No. 1 with its latest release. With the highly anticipated fourth chapter dropping on the 28th, Tangerines shows no signs of slowing down.
