According to a new report, Kim Soo Hyun‘s agency is actively reaching out to former colleagues and acquaintances of the late Kim Sae Ron, urging them to come forward.
On March 25th, Newsen quoted a source from the entertainment industry who said that Gold Medalist, the agency representing Kim Soo Hyun, had “gathered various data and materials that may shed light on Kim Sae Ron’s state of mind and activities in the months leading up to her passing.”
The source went on to say, “They’ve reportedly met with several insiders who supported that effort, and are now trying to convince one or two key individuals to speak publicly—either through an interview or press conference.”
This comes in the wake of a firestorm ignited earlier this month by the controversial YouTube channel Hoverlab (aka Garosero Institute), which released a video exposing Kim Soo Hyun’s relationship with Kim Sae Ron when she was still underage. The clip quickly went viral, stirring massive backlash online.
Since then, Hoverlab has followed up with further allegations, including purported photos and messages. Gold Medalist has since issued a statement in response, but the fallout continues. Major advertisers have cut ties, and shows featuring Kim Soo Hyun are said to be grappling with mounting pressure.
Then, during a March 23rd livestream, a Hoverlab host ramped up the tension even further, claiming, “What Kim Soo Hyun should really be afraid of is about to come out.” He continued, “This isn’t just about whether or not he dated a minor. He could face serious legal consequences under criminal law. This goes beyond grooming.”
The host also made disturbing gestures on camera—pretending to bind his hands and placing a pen in his mouth—saying, “This is what you like, isn’t it?” hinting at more sensational revelations to come.
