Byeon Woo Seok has taken over the TV drama and non-drama buzz rankings, making history with the first-ever record of its kind in the past decade, according to Good Data. tvN’s Lovely Runner has claimed the top spot for four consecutive weeks, with Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon securing the first and second places respectively. The show’s finale group viewing event sold out in an instant, reflecting the high level of interest. JTBC’s The Atypical Family, Netflix’s The 8 Show, and tvN’s The Midnight Romance in Hagwon maintained their rankings from the previous week. Cheon Woo Hee, starring in both The Atypical Family and The 8 Show, captured attention by placing 4th and 10th in the actor rankings, showcasing her versatility and earning praise for her performances. The much-anticipated showdown between SBS and MBC’s weekend dramas saw SBS take an early lead. Connection debuted at 5th place, bouncing back from the underperformance of its predecessor The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection. Although its premiere lagged behind Bitter Sweet Hell, its second episode saw a slight uptick, placing Bitter Sweet Hell at 6th. Connection received accolades for its acting, while Bitter Sweet Hell was praised for its atmospheric storytelling. Meanwhile, Disney Plus’s anticipated Uncle Samsik dropped to 10th.
