Jang Do Yeon couldn’t help but get overly invested in the chemistry between Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon. On May 27th, TEO’s original show “Salon Drip 2” featured the stars of the hit drama Lovely Runner, showcasing their playful interactions.
Jang Do Yeon started by asking if they were feeling the show’s popularity, to which Byeon Woo Seok responded, “My family says it’s really fun. My sister’s friends are going crazy, and my parents ask for autographs.” Kim Hye Yoon added, “I’ve seen reaction videos from fans. It’s touching to see how people watch the show.”
Jang Do Yeon praised the show’s romantic moments, asking the pair about their most memorable scenes. As Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon exchanged glances, she excitedly asked, “What episode was that? Before or after the time slip? I’m getting butterflies!”
When they said where they were simply talking, Jang Do Yeon playfully pushed, “You guys are dating, right? What’s going on? You got out of the same car, didn’t you?” She then continued to gush over a scene with cherry blossoms, describing it as “adorably sweet.”
Kim Hye Yoon reflected on a particular moment, “There was a scene where I felt how dependable and cool he was. When (Sol) has a stomach in the bus, (he) asks the bus to stop, which felt really reassuring.” Byeon Woo Seok shared, “We filmed for almost 11 months, and Hye Yoon cried for nine of them. She always gave so much emotion, whether happy or sad. I felt like carrying her away. I’m really grateful for that.”
Jang Do Yeon mentioned how their behind-the-scenes interactions fueled the rumors, noting, “Seeing you hold hands and maintain emotions ever after the shooting ended made me wonder what’s going on.” Byeon Woo Seok clarified, “There were many crying scenes, and after those, I was trying to comfort her and tell her you did good—it’s that kind of touching.’”
The production team humorously warned Jang Do Yeon about her overly affectionate commentary, to which she replied, “This is the first time someone called me cheesy. I’ve been called soulless before, but not cheesy,” causing everyone to laugh.
