As Queen of Tears dominates with over a 20% viewer rating, fans, engaged by the actors’ compelling portrayals of villainy, have picked the drama’s three most exasperating characters. This topic sparked discussions in an online community, spotlighting these notably irritating antagonists.

Leading the pack is the main villain Yoon Eun Seong, portrayed by Park Sung Hoon, who is described as overly intrusive and manipulative in his efforts to disrupt the marriage of his first love, Hong Hae In (Kim Ji Won), and Baek Hyun Woo (Kim Soo Hyun). Viewers criticize his inappropriate meddling, with comments such as “He really crosses the line,” “Why does he like a married woman?” and “Does he even care that she’s sick?”

The matchmaker Grace Go, played by Kim Joo Ryeong, also made the list for her deceitful tactics and her constant spying and conspiring. Her actions have annoyed yet entertained viewers, leading to mixed reactions like “Grace Go is the most annoying, but it’s fun when she appears.”

Lastly, Kim Sun Hwa, Hae In’s mother, portrayed by Na Young Hee, was mentioned. She’s criticized for her extreme favoritism, devoting only to Ha In’s younger son, Hong Su Cheol, due to a traumatic past incident where her eldest son died saving Hae In from drowning—it was recently revealed that it was actually Hyun Woo who saved her. One viewer commented, “Can’t believe she’s the real mother.”

However, with fans expecting Kim Sun Hwa to change her ways after discovering Hae In’s illness, they suggested replacing her with Mo Seul Hee, the “ultimate boss,” played by Lee Mi Sook. Previously jailed for adultery and giving birth in prison, she has been living as the Queens Group chairman’s partner for 30 years, secretly scheming to take over the company all those times. “Mo Seul Hee is the worst” and “She should be at the top of this list,” said viewers, highlighting her as a standout antagonist.
