Drama Ranking for 1st Week of April

tvN’s Queen of Tears has maintained its position at the top of the weekly TV rankings for five consecutive weeks, boasting a viewership rate of 19%, making it the third-highest rated drama in tvN history. The cast, including Kim Ji Won and Kim Soo Hyun, has seen six of its members rank in the cast rankings. Making its debut in second place is Netflix’s Parasyte: The Grey. The series has exceeded expectations, performing well not only in Korea and Asia but also globally. The show garnered explosive reactions, especially for the ending scene featuring Japanese actor Masaki Suda. MBC’s Wonderful World secured the third spot as the unfolding truths involving Cha Eun Woo and Kim Nam Joo captivated viewers, drawing attention to the series finale. tvN’s Wedding Impossible concluded its run in fourth place, with mixed reactions to the special appearance by director Lee Chung Hyeon, the real-life boyfriend of actress Jeon Jong Seo, in its final episode. The upcoming drama Lovely Runner also made it into the ranking, heightening expectations for Kim Hye Yoon’s youth drama. SBS’s The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection came in fifth, but the series saw a dip in ratings to 2%, eliciting disappointment from its audience.
