Wonderful World has unveiled behind-the-scenes snapshots of Cha Eun Woo on set, capturing the attention of fans and audiences alike.

MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama Wonderful World delves into the mystery surrounding Eun Soo Hyun (Kim Nam Joo), who avenges her son’s death by taking down his murderer, only to uncover the enigmatic secrets of that fateful day. The drama recently achieved its highest viewership rating yet at 11.4% nationwide, according to Nielsen Korea.

Cha Eun Woo portrays Kwon Sun Yul, a character bent on relentless revenge against Kim Nam Joo, who killed his father. His portrayal has been lauded for introducing an unprecedentedly “beautiful” villain, blending eeriness with a pitiable fragility.

The production has now shared candid moments of Cha Eun Woo on set, revealing a stark contrast to his intense on-screen persona. In one of the released stills, Cha is seen prepping for a scene atop a motorcycle, helmet in hand, his charming smile a far cry from the grim facade of his character. Off-camera, Cha’s endearing antics and lovable demeanor have been a source of delight and excitement among the crew.

The Wonderful World production team praised the actor, stating, “Cha Eun Woo is the mood maker on set. His jovial nature not only brings happiness to those around him but also showcases his passion for meticulously working on his craft with fellow actors.” They further teased, “Stay tuned to see where Kwon Sun Yul’s quest for vengeance leads and the evolving dynamics between him and Kim Nam Joo.”

Meanwhile, Wonderful World airs its 11th episode on the 5th at 9:50 PM KST, and is also available for streaming on Disney Plus.
