Making her debut on the MBC variety show Radio Star, BIBI brought along tales of her cinematic journey, surprising the audience with her experiences from the Cannes Film Festival to receiving an unexpected gift from Song Joong Ki. “I attended the Cannes Film Festival for my film Helpless. We were invited to the Un Certain Regard section,” she revealed, causing astonishment with her mention of Cannes as her first film festival experience.
Kim Gu Ra’s curiosity about Song Joong Ki’s gift led to an even more intriguing story. BIBI shared, “He gave me the latest model of a smartphone as a gift.” Kim Gu Ra’s initial confusion turned into admiration as BIBI explained, “It was a present for both actor Hong Xa Bin and me. Song Joong Ki overheard me mentioning the new phone release and immediately told me, “Reserve one.’ And he transferred the money on the spot,” adding an element of surprise to the generous gesture.
Kim Gu Ra remarked on Song Joong Ki’s straightforward generosity, and Yoo Se Yoon couldn’t help but admire how he just transferred the money.
BIBI also touched on filming her first-ever kiss scene with Ji Chang Wook in the drama The Worst of Evil. “It was my first kiss scene. We had eaten garlic bossam right before,” she chuckled, “I thought the scene wouldn’t be so long, but it lasted for three minutes on the show.” She credited Ji Chang Wook for smoothly getting through the filming, leaving viewers both amused and intrigued by her behind-the-scenes insights.
