Seungri is facing criticism for mentioning G-Dragon at his recent overseas fan meet, while G-Dragon has publicly expressed support for an upcoming event by fellow BIGBANG member Daesung.
In a video shared on an online community, Seungri was seen at a Cambodian event shouting, “I’ll bring G-Dragon here someday,” sparking cheers from the crowd. The video shows people chanting G-Dragon’s name while Seungri dances to the song “Good Boy” by G-Dragon and Taeyang.
However, some fans criticized Seungri for bringing up his connection with BIGBANG members, given his disgraceful departure from the group.
In a contrasting move, G-Dragon indirectly supported Daesung on January 24th by sharing a poster for Daesung’s fan party on his Instagram.
The rapper has consistently shown affection for BIGBANG, celebrating Daesung’s OST release for tvN’s Unexpected Business in California last year. He also addressed the discord controversy with T.O.P. by sharing a photo of them.
Notably, G-Dragon has recently established a foundation focused on eradicating drugs and supporting struggling artists as well as those in need of financial help. Meanwhile, Daesung is set to hold a fan meet on March 16th and 17th.
