A real-life mystery TV show is coming.
Coming February 15th at 8:40 PM KST, tvN’s Apartment404 is a space-time transcending real-life mystery variety show set in an apartment complex, a familiar setting for many. The show features six residents—Yoo Jae Suk, Cha Tae Hyun, Oh Na Ra, Yang Se Chan, Jennie, and Lee Jung Ha—who will unravel extraordinary events that transpire in this everyday space.
The released first teaser video captures the residents’ exciting investigation, filled with screams and high tensions. The video starts with the residents entering the apartment for the first time. Their shocked expressions upon setting foot inside hint at unusual happenings within the complex.
Yoo Jae Suk tries to make sense of the situation, saying, “Something’s happening in the apartment, I guess?” Meanwhile, the other residents engage in their unique ways of uncovering secrets. As the residents discover clues, unexpected phenomena such as smoke rising and money scattering from the sky unfold, raising questions about the hidden secrets in the apartment.
Especially intriguing in the teaser is the phrase “404 Not Found,” signifying the non-existent URL, which embodies the concept of Apartment404, a first-of-its-kind reality-based detective variety show in South Korea.
Additionally, the realistic landscape, reminiscent of apartment complexes from decades ago, exudes a retro vibe. Yang Se Chan’s remark, “This is so real,” underscores the impeccable recreation of Apartment404. Anticipation builds for what might unfold on the first day of their residence in this perfectly constructed setting.
