BLACKPINK’s Lisa and Stray Kids are set to perform at a charity concert in France next year. Accor Arena, a prestigious venue in Paris, announced on December 26th that Lisa, Stray Kids, JBALVIN, Maroon 5, and Pharrell Williams will be part of the lineup for the ‘Yellow Coin Concert’ scheduled for January 26th.
Organized by the French Hospital Foundation under the leadership of Brigitte Macron, wife of French President Emmanuel Macron, the Yellow Coin Concert gained widespread attention last year when all BLACKPINK members delivered an electrifying performance.
Since 1989, the French Hospital Foundation has been conducting the ‘Yellow Coin Campaign’ nearly every year to support children and adolescents in hospitals. During this campaign, the organization collects Centimes (100 Centimes = 1 franc), which amount to less than 1 euro (about 1,400 won), for about a month to enhance conditions in children’s hospitals. The upcoming collection period is scheduled from January 10th to February 4th, 2024.
