tvN’s Twinkling Watermelon wrapped up its run at the top spot, marking seven consecutive weeks of increasing buzz. The series, starring Choi Hyun Wook, Shin Eun Soo, Ryeoun, and Seol In Ah, concluded with each character finding their own happy ending. However, some viewers expressed disappointment over Choi Hyun Wook’s character not avoiding an accident that led to hearing loss. MBC’s My Dearest Part 2 ended its extended run of 21 episodes in second place, concluding with the much-desired happy ending for Namkoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin. KBS’s Goryeo-Khitan War climbed to the fifth spot, gaining attention with increasing viewership and Baek Sung Hyun’s notable performance, who exited the show through his character’s death. JTBC’s Strong Girl Nam-soon ranked sixth, with viewers sympathizing with the character of Byun Woo Seok, who came to know all the facts, stirring empathy for those rooting for his romance with Lee Yoo Mi. SBS’s The Escape of the Seven concluded in ninth place, making way for the upcoming series My Demon, starring Kim Yoo Jung and Song Kang, which is already creating buzz.
