Yoo Hae Jin has reportedly spent 4.5 billion won ($3.44 million) to purchase a house in Seoul’s Seongbuk district.
BizKorea reported on November 8th about the actor’s acquisition of the mansion on October 27th. The property features one basement and two stories, with a total floor area of 322.38 square meters (3,470 square feet).
According to the building register, the actor’s new building was constructed in September 1986. It sits on a land area of approximately 496 square meters (5,339 square feet).
Per the land registry, the purchase and sale contract was signed on October 20th, and the ownership transfer registration was completed a week later on the 27th. Media reports suggest that the new mansion was paid for in full, as no mortgage was placed on the property.
Seongbuk is currently home to many top stars, including Bae Yong Joon, Park Soo Jin, Lee Min Ho, Lee Seung Gi, BLACKPINK’s Lisa, and Beenzino.
Meanwhile, Yoo Hae Jin still owns a villa in the Gugi area, where he has lived for over a decade. He purchased the property in 2008 for 860 million won ($657,897), and it is now estimated to have a current market value of about 2 billion won ($1.53 million).
