KBS’s new Monday-Tuesday drama The Matchmaker has released new character posters featuring Rowoon and Cho Yi Hyun.
The Matchmaker is a romantic comedy-drama set in the Joseon Dynasty, revolving around two marriage brokers helping single men and women in finding their true love.
The character posters grab attention with their recruiting announcements for single men and women, showcasing Shim Jung Woo (played by Rowoon) and Jung Soon Deok (played by Choi Yoo Hwa) as matchmakers in the Joseon era.
Shim Jung Woo displays his impeccably disciplined side, looking stunning in purple, while Jung Soon Deok exudes confidence as she sits with a stack of letters in front of her, indicating her success as the town’s best matchmaker.
The production team stated, “The character teaser posters were designed to highlight the distinctive qualities of the two matchmakers from the Joseon dynasty. Stay tuned for their remarkable chemistry in the upcoming series.”
The Matchmaker will premiere on October 30th.
