Ji Ji An shared her excitement about her working experience on the set of Netflix’s Mask Girl, where she portrayed the iconic masked girl, Kim Mo Mi.
Mask Girl follows the journey of Kim Mo Mi, an ordinary office worker grappling with insecurities about her appearance. The tumultuous narrative unfolds as she immerses herself in online streaming every night with a mask to conceal her identity.
Amid the growing interest, Mo Mi’s remarkable dance skills are generating buzz. While many initially believed that Lee Han Byeol, who plays the masked girl before her plastic surgery transformation in the show, was responsible for the dancing, it was actually model Ji Ji An who stole the show with her dance performance.

Ji Ji An took to her Instagram and revealed that she began practicing the choreography in January of the previous year and commenced filming in August. She added, “I went through a lot last year. I secured the role and practiced the moves with desperation and tears.”
“Some of the dance moves were edited out of the show, so you might not consider the choreography to be that challenging. However, once I completed the entire song, I would be drenched in sweat. During practice sessions, I would consistently find myself out of breath on the floor,” she recalled, reflecting on her practice days.
Lastly, she expressed her gratitude to the production team and her dance instructor. She stated, “I am genuinely happy that Mask Girl has received tremendous love.” She also gave a shoutout to Lee Han Byeol, who portrayed the real masked girl Kim Mo Mi in the series.
