SEVENTEEN’s S.COUPS has suffered an injury while filming and is currently undergoing surgery.
On August 17th, Pledis Entertainment announced, “During the shooting of a sports content on the 10th, S.COUPS injured his left knee. He was immediately taken to the hospital for thorough examinations and was diagnosed with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.”
The statement continued, “The artist is currently undergoing necessary medical procedures prior to the surgery.” The agency also mentioned that updates regarding his recovery plan will be provided.
Additionally, they explained, “S.COUPS will temporarily step away from the majority of official activities to concentrate on recovery through surgery and rehabilitation.” While emphasizing the artist’s strong determination to engage in scheduled activities, they notified that future plans may change, considering the medical advice and his recovery process.
Concluding the announcement, the agency assured, “We will provide the best support to ensure S.COUPS returns to his fans in good health as soon as possible.”
