Junho is in talks to join a new Netflix series titled Cashero (literal title).
On July 13th, a source from JYP Entertainment stated, “Junho is currently reviewing the offer to star in Cashero.”
Based on a webtoon of the same name, Cashero revolves around superheroes who protect ordinary people from everyday dangers.
Junho is in talks to portray the character Kang Sang Woong, also known as Cashero, a superhero whose supernatural abilities grow as he carries more cash.
Debuting as a singer in the group 2PM in 2008, Junho ventured into acting with his film debut in 2013’s Cold Eyes. He has since appeared in various dramas including Good Manager, Work of Love, Confession and The Red Sleeve, establishing himself as a talented actor.
Notably, he won the Best Actor Award for his role in The Red Sleeve at the 58th Baeksang Arts Awards.
Meanwhile, Junho is currently starring as Goo Won in the JTBC’s King the Land.
