HyunA showed her support for her ex-boyfriend Dawn, who recently made a comeback, amidst rumors of their reunion.
On April 13th, HyunA took to her Instagram to give fans a sneak peek of her ex-boyfriend Dawn’s music video for his new song “Dear My Light,” and wrote, “I met you at a time when you were at your best, and I was willing to withstand anything, regardless of what others may have said. However, now I’m doing well on my own.”
Dawn released his new single “Dear My Light” on the same day, and the lyrics of his self-composed song drew much attention for seemingly alluding to his ex-lover, HyunA.

The lyrics to Dawn’s new song are as follows:
“If I hadn’t met you then, where would we be now? I met you at a time when you were at your best, and I was willing to withstand anything, regardless of what others may have said. Even if I had to sacrifice a lot to see you shine, I’m okay with it. You were my everything, and I was happy enough to forget about myself. I don’t mind losing everything, as long as I can see you shining bright.”
Dawn recently spoke about his new song, saying, “I believe that everyone has their dark sides. ‘Dear My Light’ is like a letter to the person who illuminates that darkness and shines like a small light. I worked hard on the song with GroovyRoom, pouring my sincere emotions into it.” In response, HyunA shared a portion of the song’s lyrics on her Instagram, showing her support for Dawn.
HyunA and Dawn publicly started dating in 2018, but ended their relationship in November of last year. Two months later, there were rumors of a potential reunion, but both of them have remained tight-lipped about the matter since then.
