Kim Ji Hoon shared what it was like filming a kiss scene with Yoo Teo in the latest episode of tvN’s Amazing Saturday.
During the broadcast, Yoo Teo revealed, “Character Nam Kang Ho I play in Love to Hate You is known as the master of romance and kissing. That is all because Kim Ji Hoon, who stars as the CEO of his agency, always makes sure to practice together with me before the camera rolls,” surprising everyone on set.
Kim Ji Hoon explained, “Teo appears as an A-list star who is excellent at kissing. But he actually gets really anxious about kissing, so the CEO is always with him to rehearse the kiss scene before shooting it.” Hearing what he just said, Kim Dong Hyun asked, “Are you guys ready for that?.” The two leads then brought laughter as they quickly replied, “Only in the drama,” flatly refusing to do so.
Kim Ji Hoon also shared that he was once surprised by the strong power the actor showed while holding him down during the kiss scene. He recalled, “We were rehearsing the kiss scene in which Tae swooped down on me. During the shooting, I felt like being a woman who cannot move when a powerful man holds her down. It was the first time I had ever felt that way in my life. I thought I was physically strong but he was on another level. I guess he can even compete against an MMA fighter like Kim Dong Hyun.”
