Ahn Hyo Seop is solidifying his status as a global star with back-to-back appearances on major U.S. television programs.
Fresh off his guest spot on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on December 12th, Ahn appeared on the network’s flagship morning program, the TODAY Show, on December 13th, introducing himself to viewers across North America.
This media tour follows the huge success of Netflix animated movie K-Pop Demon Hunters. In the film, Ahn voices the lead character Jinwoo, marking his debut as an English voice actor in a major Hollywood project.
His appearance on the TODAY Show, a staple of American morning television since 1952, signals his growing influence beyond Asia. The program typically hosts top-tier Hollywood stars and political figures, making Ahn’s invitation a testament to his rising profile in the mainstream US market.
The buzz surrounding Ahn reached a fever pitch earlier this week at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards on December 11th. K-Pop Demon Hunters took home two major awards: Best Animated Feature Film and Best Original Song (for the track ‘Golden’).
Ahn has been on a tour since the start of 2026. His itinerary kicked off with the CES Samsung ‘The First Look’ event in Las Vegas on January 4, followed by the Golden Disc Awards in Taipei, and now his promotional blitz in New York.
Fans won’t have to wait long to see him again; Ahn is currently preparing for the release of his next project, the new SBS drama Sold Out Today.
