Kim Yoo Jung and Jung So Min shared their thoughts about making their theater debut during a press conference for Shakespeare in Love.
Kim Yoo Jung shared, “Although I’ve read numerous scripts, it was my first time reading a play script. At first, I had no idea how I should approach the role in the story and didn’t think of it as a challenge as it was something I wanted to do so badly.”
“This moment is very special to me. When I woke up on my first day of stage performance, it was sad to realize that a day would pass after completing the show. I think the passion, love and happiness I felt here will encourage me to move towards my dreams even during hard times.”
Jung So Min, who also stars in the play, stated, “I’m very happy to have fulfilled my big dream. Although I had a lot of concerns, I’m now thrilled to work on new things that I’ve never experienced before.”
The actress also revealed that the play is something that makes her feel “alive.” She said, “I feel so refreshed these days. I can feel the air is different every time I perform on stage. This feeling burdened me in the beginning, but now it makes me feel alive. Every single day is so precious to me.”
