The new Netflix movie Kill Boksoon will be released on March 31st.
Kill Boksoon follows Gil Bok Soon (Jeon Do Yeon), a legendary killer in the business, as she gets caught up in an unavoidable confrontation right before renewing her contract with the company. Previously, it was reported that the movie was officially invited to the Berlinale Special section of the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival.
Gil Bok Soon is a renowned assassin with a 100% success rate. She always gets the “job” done, but at home, she’s a single mother to a teenage daughter who’s struggling with parenting. Ahead of renewing her contract with the company, she decides to leave the hitman business so she can get closer to her daughter who’s clearly hiding something.
Netflix dropped a teaser poster of Kill Boksoon that shows Gil Bok Soon wearing a blood-stained suit and holding a bag that seems to be carrying all kinds of weapons. Along with the poster, the first teaser also got released.
This 50-second clip briefly introduces the character Gil Bok Soon. Having tea time with other parents, she tells them she works for an event planning company, but actually, her bag carries weapons for killing. As she says, “It’s so ironic that I’m a mother while doing this kind of work,” how she balances her job and parenting raises curiosity.
Then there is Cha Min Kyu (Seol Kyung Gu), the head of MK ent who raised Gil Bok Soon to be the best killer there is, and Cha Min Hee (Esom), the director of MK ent. Moreover, Han Hee Sung (Koo Kyo Hwan), an A-rated killer who’s not getting recognized for some reason, will be spicing up the story with his relationship with Gil Bok Soon.
