Drama Ranking for 5th Week of December
tvN’s Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow took the top spot for the first time. Lee Jae Wook and Go Youn Jung’s kiss scene became a hot topic, and as the final episode is nearing, attention focuses on where their romance is heading. JTBC’s The Interest of Love came in second. The love cube of Yoo Yeon Seok, Moon Ga Young, Keum Sae Rok, and Jung Ga Ram drew interest, but some of the characters’ choices frustrated the viewers. tvN’s Missing: The Other Side 2 ranked third. Many showed satisfaction in the show, speculating possible stories of the characters. SBS’s The First Responders ended its journey in fourth place. However, the show wrapped up as Kim Rae Won and Son Ho Jun found themselves in crisis – probably hinting at season 2 – receiving negative responses. Season 2 is slated to air in July. TV Chosun’s Red Balloon rose to fifth place. While some commented that the story is getting more absorbing, some showed discontent over the story.
