Stray Kids’ Hyunjin and Felix made the cover of Cosmopolitan Korea as the “new face of the new era.”
In 2022, Stray Kids made a new history in K-pop by recording 300 million views with their MV, exceeding 3 million album sales, and topping Billboard 2022 twice with two albums in one year.
“To be precise, I feel like ‘There’s a possibility that we’ll rise even higher’ rather than realizing how far we’ve come up,” Hyunjin said. “Our members are no different from when we debuted, and we still have the same goal of wanting to show our music to more people.” Felix added, “We all feel the same way. As time goes on, we want to improve even more.”
Then what does “being cool” mean to two boys? Hyunjin answered, “Knowing what I like and knowing what makes me happy, and knowing who I am is cool.” Felix replied, “We’re preparing for the year-end stages now. And I felt something while practicing. I think it’s really cool to present one’s own place and position in one’s own color.”
Afterward, Hyunjing and Felix were asked, “If you could give each other something they need, what would it be?” Hyunjin responded, “I want to give Felix confidence. He’s much cooler and better than he thinks.” Felix’s choice was love. “Love seems to be an important emotion for Hyunjin,” he explained. “The more love you have, the better you can overcome difficulties. So love is really important and necessary. I can lend it to him for a long time – he doesn’t even have to give it back.”
