tvN’s new series Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow unveiled the heart-fluttering two shots of Lee Jae Wook and Go Youn Jung.
Alchemy of Souls is a fantasy romance drama set in a country that doesn’t exist in history or on maps. It follows the protagonists whose fate has been twisted due to the soul-shifting magic. Set three years after when Part 1 ended, Part 2 tells the story of the mages and Jang Uk, who’s returned from the dead.
The released still photos capture the moment Jang Uk encounters a woman who lost her memory and looks exactly like Nak Su. In a room filled with moonlight, the two have a fateful reunion. While Lee Jae Wook exudes a dark aura of a man who’s turned into a monster to catch other monsters, Go Youn Jung has flawlessly transformed into a mysterious woman who’s lost her memories.
The subtle tension between the two raises expectations of the chemistry the two will show.
Meanwhile, Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow will premiere on December 10th.
