Despite being in a state of bankruptcy, Kang Jong Hyun was reportedly able to make and spend thousands of dollars coming from his mobile phone business. He also added that he is currently living in his friend’s house, and the supercars parked in the basement belong to somebody else.

Moreover, he claimed that one of the high-end cars parked in the garage actually belongs to Sung Yu Ri’s husband, former professional golfer Ahn Sung Hyun. As per the $366K watch he wore on his night out with Park Min Young, he explained it is a knock-off version of a famous watch brand product.

Reports say that Kang Jong Hyun had taken out a loan of $7.3 million from a financial institution and failed to pay it back. He is listed as a delinquent taxpayer with past-due balances of $732K.

Previously, Seoul Southern District Prosecutors’ Office revealed that they prohibited Kang Jong Hyun from departing the country and is considering summoning him under suspicion of embezzlement of digital funds related to a cryptocurrency exchange platform, Bithumb.

After the announcement of his breakup with Park Min Young, Kang Jong Hyun shared, “I don’t want her career to be ruined because of her relationship with me. That’s why I decided to go separate ways with her.”
