Kim Yuna and Forestella’s Ko Woo Rim are tying the knot.
On Monday, Ko Woo Rim’s agency Beat Interactive announced, “Ko Woo Rim will marry ‘figure skating queen’ Kim Yuna in October. The wedding will be held privately only with close relatives and friends.”
Kim Yuna and Koo Woo Rim first met when Forestella appeared as a guest singer at the “All That Skate 2018,” and after three years of dating, the two decided to tie the knot.
Beat Interactive continued, “Even after marriage, Ko Woo Rim will continue to promote as a member of Forestella, a classical singer, and a crossover singer. We hope that you show support for his activities as he shows mature performances as a member of a stable family.”
Meanwhile, Kim Yuna is a retired South Korean competitive figure skater. She is the 2010 Olympic champion, 2014 silver medalist in ladies’ singles, and the 2009 & 2013 World Champions. After retiring, she has been spreading her good influence through various promotional activities and donations.
Koo Woo Rim, five years younger than Kim Yuna, graduated from Seoul National University’s vocal music department and appeared on JTBC’s Phantom Singer Season 2.
