Kang Ha Neul is reportedly joining the new drama Death’s Game.
According to Sports Chosun, Kang Ha Neul was recently offered the lead role in JTBC’s new drama Death’s Game. Kang Ha Neul’s agency thcompany responded, “It’s one of the projects he’s positively considering.”
Death’s Game, based on the popular webtoon of the same name, tells the story of a person who begins a new life with death. The show will air on JTBC early next year at the latest. 18 Again director Ha Byung Hoon will helm the production. If Kang Ha Neul joins Death’s Game, he’ll play the lead character Choi Yi Jae. Choi Yi Jae takes his own life after failing at getting a job and breaking up with his girlfriend, but he keeps reincarnating.
The drama is reportedly casting different actors to play the role of Choi Yi Jae, who reincarnates several times. But the role of “real Choi Yi Jae,” whom the story centers around, was offered to Kang Ha Neul.
Meanwhile, Kang Ha Neul is currently starring in JTBC’s Insider.
