Coupang Play will unveil the extended version of its original series Anna.
On the 8th, SPOTVNEWS reported that Coupang Play will drop the extended version of Anna in August.
Originally, Anna was penned as an 8-part series. But during the post-production, the production team decided to shorten it to 6-part series so as to densify the plot and let the viewers get more immersed in the story. However, with the growing interest in the show, they’ve decided to reveal the extended version.
Coupang Play confirmed the news, “The extended version of Anna will be unveiled thanks to viewers’ explosive reactions. This new version will tell richer storytelling for Anna (Suzy), Hyun Joo (Jung Eun Chae), Ji Hoon (Kim Han Jun), Ji Won (Park Ye Young), as well as a more colorful and detailed story.”
Meanwhile, Anna tells the story of a woman who starts off by telling a small lie and ends up living someone else’s life. Suzy took on her first-ever title role and received praises for her successful transformation. The last two episodes will be released today.
