BLACKPINK’s Jennie will be starring in HBO drama The Idol. Reports say that the female idol was offered to play a role and is currently in talks to star in the show.

The Idol is a collaborative work between The Weeknd and Euphoria creator Sam Levinson and stars The Weeknd, Lily-Rose Depp, Troye Sivan and more.

No details about which role the K-pop artist will play are available at the moment. Reports say that she is most likely to play a supporting role or to guest star in the project and that the drama is reportedly filming in LA right now. Last year, Jennie was spotted enjoying dinner with The Weeknd.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK will come back in the latter half of this year after their two years of hiatus.
