aespa has partnered with Warner Records for their U.S. promotions.
On June 1st, SM Entertainment officially announced that they had forged a global partnership with the U.S. record label. And with this partnership, asepa’s upcoming second mini-album Girls will be released simultaneously in Korea and the States on July 8th.
Additionally, asepa will pre-release the English single Life’s Too Short on the 24th, two weeks before the release of their mini-album. The act gave a sneak peek into the song at the Coachella in April.
Tom Corson and Aaron Bay-Shuck, co-chairs of Warner Records, commented, “aespa has already made an impact across the world under the leadership of SM founder Lee Soo Man. We’re honored to welcome aespa as the first K-pop group to become part of Warner Records’ family.”
The girls have expressed their excitement about this new partnership. “Please look forward to what news awaits you, including a new album to be released this summer,” they shared.
