Jinyoung got dressed up for the pictorial for the June issue of Marie Claire.
After a long time since his debut, GOT7’s Jinyoung cut his hair short for his role in the new movie A Christmas Carol. Standing in front of the cameras, the actor showed off his mature and masculine charms.
In an interview conducted afterwards, Jinyoung talked about his life as an actor – from what he had learned from Sol Kyung Gu while filming Yaksha: Ruthless Operations to the new things he’ll show in A Christmas Carol and the thoughts he had while playing Yoo Bobby in Yumi’s Cells 2.
Looking back at the past ten years of his career, Jinyoung shared, “I was faithful to living every moment. Unlike in the past, now I have a sense of ownership for the craft of acting and my profession as an actor.”
Jinyoung also talked about his excitement over GOT7’s return as a whole group. When asked if he felt awkward singing and dancing again after focusing on his acting career, he answered that it’s impossible to just stop doing what he’s been doing for more than 10 years and that he had been practicing on his own the whole time. Near the end of the interview, he expressed his undying love for the stage, saying that he’s been waiting for the day he could dance again.
