Weekly TV Top10: With Kim Ji Won and Son Seok Koo’s Romance Taking a New Turn, ‘My Liberation Notes’ Tops the Charts for the First Time

My Liberation Notes

Drama Ranking for the 1st Week of May

After seeing a rise in popularity for four weeks, JTBC’s My Liberation Notes took the top spot for the first time. While Son Seok Koo and Kim Ji Won‘s romance continues to gain viewers’ support, Lee Min Ki coveting Son Seok Koo’s expensive car became a hot topic. tvN’s Our Blues dropped to second place. Though Lee Byung Hun‘s performance and good messages within the story have garnered praises, the cliche-filled love stories weren’t so welcomed. KBS’s new drama Bloody Heart debuted at No. 3. The beautiful scenery met lavish praises, leading to the expectations in the upcoming plot. JTBC’s Green Mothers’ Club ranked fourth. The excitement has two folded as the characters’ past was revealed starting with Kim Gyu Ri‘s death, although many showed disappointment over the overly provocative narrative. SBS’s Again My Life kept its position at No. 5 with a steady response, while tvN’s Sh**ting Stars rose to sixth place as Lee Sung Kyung, Kim Young Dae, and Lee Jung Shin‘s love triangle intensified.
