MBC’s Tomorrow has garnered rave reviews from overseas and domestic audiences.

As the drama’s global ranking speaks for itself, Tomorrow has continued to rank among the top 6 most-streamed series during April in Vietnam, Hongkong, Japan, Indonesia, and Taiwan, according to FlixPatrol. The drama’s popularity is showing no signs of slowing down on the small screen entering May.

Foreign media and critics have also sung the praises of the drama. It was well-received for its fresh take on the genre with the use of grim reapers and the afterlife that shows a warm reflection on humanity.

What caught the eyes of British magazine NME was the supernatural theme of the drama. The outlet mentioned that the drama offers up a unique twist on the idea of the afterlife and how our souls slip from one world to another. They said, “The drama explores people’s different stories and struggles sensitively, softly tracing a line through their past traumas to the breaking points they find themselves at.”

The drama conveys a warm message to the viewers as it talks about sensitive social issues in the form of drama episodes. Plus, the brilliant acting of Kim Hee Sun, SF9’s Rowoon, Lee Soo Hyuk, and Yoon Ji On keeps the viewers glued to their screens.
