K-pop Star AleXa Wins ‘American Song Contest’

A rising K-pop star named AleXa became the winner of NBC’s American Song Contest.

A total of 10 teams, including AleXa from Oklahoma, Allen Stone from Washington, Michael Bolton from Connecticut, Riker Lynch from Colorado, and Ni/CO from Alabama made it to the finals. Kelly Clarkson and Snoop Dogg announced the voting results of each state and ultimately announced AleXa as the winner of the program.

When her name was announced, Alexa immediately covered her face and shed tears of joy. Alexa came onto the stage to accept her trophy and gave a wonderful celebratory stage that brought the audience to its feet.

Shortly after winning the contest, AleXa gave a heartfelt speech through her label. She said: “I didn’t expect to win at all. Thanks to you all who have supported me so far. If it weren’t for you, I would not be able to keep performing on stage. Thank you for giving me this miraculous gift.”

AleXa made her K-pop debut in 2019 with “Bomb.” After starring in Mnet’s Produce 48, she made the earliest solo debut among all contestants. Alexa, an all-rounder artist with incredible talent, has been referred to as a “global monster rookie” and has expanded her career scope in and out of the country.
