Jinyoung and Kim Go Eun‘s love cells will bring excitement to the small screen.
TVING original series Yumi’s Cells 2 dropped the new posters for the two leads. Just like in the first season, Yumi’s love cell catches the eye with its energetic and endearing aura.
What draws more attention is the very first glimpse of Yoo Bobby’s love cell. He has a scarf with a heart drawn on it over his head, looking very excited. Moreover, Yumi’s poster has the phrase “I want to get to know you more,” while Bobby’s poster has the phrase “Can we start now?” raising expectations for Yumi’s second love story.
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, Yumi’s Cells tells the story of an ordinary woman Yumi from the point of view of the many brain cells. The first season, aired in September last year, maximized the charm of the webtoon by combining live-action with 3D animation and received great love from fans around the world.
“Bobby’s cells, which will be unveiled this season, have an array of charms just as colorful and diverse as Yumi’s cells. Please look forward to seeing Bobby’s many colorful cells, including his love cell,” the production team shared. “The synergy of Kim Go Eun and Jinyoung, who will meticulously express the changes in emotions that Yumi and Bobby feel, is a must-see.”
Meanwhile, Yumi’s Cells 2 will be released on TVING in June.
