Netflix confirmed the production of Ballerina (literal title), the second movie of The Call duo, director Lee Chung Hyun and Jeon Jong Seo.
Ballerina tells the beautiful yet ruthless revenge story of Ok Joo, a former bodyguard who sets out on revenge for her dear friend Min Hee.
It’s the new project by director Lee Chung Hyun, who left a strong impression with the movie The Call. Unlike her previous works, Ballerina will feature trendy and stylish action sequences and visuals. One thing to note is that Lee Chung Hyun and his girlfriend Jeon Jong Seo have teamed up once again.
Jeon Jong Seo plays former bodyguard Ok Joo. Joining her in the cast is her Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area co-star Kim Ji Hoon. Kim Ji Hoon takes on the role of Choi, the target of Ok Joo’s revenge. Rookie actress Park Yoo Rim will play ballerina Min Hee, who asks Ok Joo for revenge.
On top of that, artist GRAY has been tabbed as the music director.
