Ahn Hyo Seop will make a new challenge in the upcoming rom-com drama A Business Proposal.
Ahead of the premiere, Ahn Hyo Seop talked about playing CEO Kang Tae Moo. The actor shared, “I’ve always wanted to challenge a new rom-com drama. I think I’ll get to approach the viewers with a more cheery look than what I’ve shown in my previous dramas.”
Kang Tae Moo is a handsome heir of a conglomerate, so in other words, he has it all. “In the play, Kang Tae Moo is admired by everyone. He seems perfect on the outside,” Ahn Hyo Seop explained. “Tae Moo is good at various things. And especially when he works, he pulls off a suit perfectly, so I actually tailored suits (for the role).” He added, “From tidy hairstyle to movements and the way he talks, I thought about what Kang Tae Moo is like. The first thing that had to come was to look like Kang Tae Moo, not Ahn Hyo Seop.”
Ahn Hyo Seop shared his in-depth observation of the character. “Since Tae Moo himself is so perfect, he doesn’t understand the small mistakes that ordinary people make, and he reacts coldly and sensitively,” he said. “But one thing to note is how Kang Tae Moo changes both as a person and in terms of emotions after meeting Ha Ri (Kim Se Jeong).”
Lastly, the actor mentioned the transformation he’ll make in the drama. He commented, “There are lots of humorous and refreshing scenes that are unique to the rom-com genre. Since A Business Proposal and the character Kang Tae Moo are new challenges for me, I also can’t wait to see the new looks of me.”
Meanwhile, A Business Proposal will premiere on February 28th at 10 PM KST.
