Now, We Are Breaking Up has made its finale with an open ending. In the final episode, Ha Young Eun (Song Hye Kyo) and Yoon Jae Guk (Jang Ki Yong) meet again after two years.
In episode 15, Young Eun and Jae Guk decide to go separate ways. The drama fast-forwards to 2 years later, where both Young Eun and Jae Guk are working hard in their respective fields. Young Eun pursues her dreams and leaves SONO to launch her own brand. Jae Guk, who stayed in Paris, gains popularity as a photographer and fulfills his dream of holding an exhibition.
Fate brought the two together in Busan Fashion Week, the event where they first met 3 years earlier. As Jae Guk returns to Korea to take part in the show, he hopes to see Young Eun. Eventually, the two end up meeting each other again.
The reunion is especially emotional as the two have vowed to never let go of each other if they ever meet again. The drama ended with a heart-warming scene of Young Eun and Jae Guk asking each other how they’re doing, hinting that the two will be reunited once again as lovers.
