This past week’s episode left viewers in shock as it ended with Lee Seung Young (Lee Kyu Hyung) surrounded by the infected.

According to Nielsen Korea, the second episode of tvN’s Happiness recorded an average nationwide viewership rating of 3.2 percent, taking first place in its time slot across all cable channels.

In the second episode, the spread of an unknown infectious disease brought chaos to society. Meanwhile, Yoon Sae Bom and Jung Yi Hyun moved into an apartment set aside for police officers disguised as newlyweds. However, within the apartment building, there was discrimination between those who had purchased their apartments and those who were leasing.

Lee Seung Young, Yoon Sae Bom’s colleague, faces a crisis as he enters an insulated truck where severely infected people are kept. He ended up there looking for a newsworthy story to pass onto a reporter, who promised to pay him in return.

Garnering positive responses for its intriguing story and the actors’ excellent performances, Happiness is expected to see an increase in viewership ratings.
