KBS’ new Wednesday-Thursday drama School 2021 has shared a glimpse of Kim Yo Han in character.
School 2021 tells the story of students who choose different paths than going off to colleges. The series is about the dreams, friendships, romance, and growth of the 18-year-old youths who now stand on the verge of being adults.
Kim Yo Han plays a young adult named Gong Ki Joon, who lost his dream of Taekwondo due to an injury. After quitting sports, he tries to fit into his new world by joining a woodworking club and socializing with a different group of friends. The drama will present a beautiful transformation that he will go through when he stumbled upon his first love Jin Ji Won (played by Cho Yi Hyun) and a friend with who he shares a secret, Jung Young Joo (Choo Young Woo).
Kim Yo Han shows off two opposing vibes in the released still. On the one hand, he is a fresh, cheerful and good-looking teenager in a school uniform. On the other hand, he is not all looking bubbly and happy. His face is full of worries as he has to work double shifts to help his family, and his gloomy face shows the dark reality that youths face these days.
School 2021 will premiere in November after the conclusion of Dali and Cocky Prince.
