On September 1st, Hankook Ilbo has reported that Sooyoung is in talks to play the female lead in the upcoming drama Tell Me Your Wish (literal title).
Tell Me Your Wish is about those who want to die well. The drama will tell stories of the patients with terminal diseases in the hospice ward, their last wishes, and the volunteers to have come to help them. The Cursed director Kim Yong Wan will exec produce the series.
Sooyoung was offered to play Seo Yeon Joo, a bubbly nurse who is obsessed with her patients’ health. She has a bouncy personality who gives hope to those around her in the hospice ward.
In response to the reports of her joining the series, her agency Saram Entertainment clarified that Sooyoung is contemplating the offer she received from the Tell Me Your Wish team.
Meanwhile, Ji Chang Wook and Sung Dong Il have confirmed to join the series. Ji Chang Wook will play male lead Yoon Gye Re, a man running away from death with no urge to live. Sung Dong Il will play Kang Tae Sik, the volunteer team’s leader who knows everything about the hospice hospital.
